The family of an 18-year-old Kokomo woman who has been missing for the past four months is still searching for answers in her disappearance.
Karena McClerkin disappeared last October. The last place she was seen was near the intersection of Markland Road and Washington Street. Her grandmother, Gerry McClerkin, said the family has been searching nearly every day for Karena, hoping that someday they’ll find an answer about her disappearance. And while their search continue, Gerry McClerkin says after four months, the family has given up hope that they will still find Karena alive.
The Kokomo Police Department is working the case, but say it’s an ongoing investigation.
