An early morning car fire Monday in Marion spread to the adjoining house of the owner doing additional damage.
Marion firefighters were called to the 36-hundred block of South Selby Street at about 3:30 in the morning for the car fire, but then found that the flames had caught the owner’s home on fire.  Flames burned off much of the vinyl siding and spread to the home’s attic.  The car was destroyed.
