BSU Trustees Make Takeover Official

Ball State Trustees have made the takeover of the Muncie Community Schools official by approving the move. Now, the university has three months to get ready for the new school year.
Ball State President Geoffrey Mearns says there will be a two-year study to come up with plans for improving Muncie Schools and getting the system out of debt. But he says donors have already pledged three-million dollars to start the process and he says those donors have confidence in Ball State’s ability to spend that money wisely.
