4th Of July Fireworks Coming Back To Matter Park

Fireworks are coming back to Matter Park in Marion for the 4^th of July Celebration.
Fireworks left Matter Park a few years ago to move to downtown Marion on the 4^th of July, but city leaders felt it was important to return the tradition to the park.
The fireworks will actually occur on Tuesday, July 3^rd in Matter Park, as will singer and musician Jon McGlaughlin, local singer Jessie Brown and the local band The Posse.  They’ll all be a part of a free 4^th of July celebration at Matter Park.  There will aoso be a number of other activities in Matter Park as well that night.
