A Marion native has been named the Interim President of Earlham College in Richmond.
Avis Stewart has been a part of the administration at Earlham for several years. He’ll take over the presidency of the college on an interim basis when current president Alan Price steps down at the end of July.
Price announced this week that he’ll pursue other interests after serving just one year as president at Earlham.
Avis Stewart grew up in Marion and joined the administration at Earlham several years ago.
