School Shooter hearing Re-Set For September

A fact-finding hearing for the 13-year-old boy accused of shooting two people at Noblesville West Middle School in May won’t happen until September.
The hearing was originally scheduled for this week, but the boy’s attorney asked for an extension to prepare. It will now take place September 10th and 11th. The youth is facing attempted murder and numerous other charges. The case is being heard in juvenile court because a suspect must be at least 14 years old to be eligible to be waived to adult court on charges of attempted murder.
The boy is accused of shooting a fellow student and a teacher, who both survived.
