Donnelly Says Ag Could Be First Victim of Trade War

Indiana Senator Joe Donnelly says Hoosier farmers could be among the first casualties of a trade war.
Donnelly acknowledges that he has supported tariffs before, but for narrow and specific purposes. Donnelly says Indiana soybean farmers are already being hurt by China’s retaliation against U-S tariffs. He says bean prices dropped two-dollars a bushel in one month, and are getting close to being less than the cost of production.
