Howard Co. Sports H-O-F Announces 7 New Inductees

The Howard County Sports Hall of Fame has announced seven new members for 2018.
Those to be inducted this year include:
Haworth High School athlete and longtime Amherst College tennis coach Jaqueline Bagwell…Kokomo High School and Hanover College basketball standout Mark Gabriel…Longtime semi-pro and amateur baseball coach and local athletic booster Mick Owens…Northwestern High School runner and collegiate star Gary Mumaw…Kokomo High School and Ball State University football standout Willard Rice, who then had successful coaching stints at both Eastern and Kokomo High Schools…Cari Stover-Richards, who led Kokomo to back-to-back State Championships in the early 1990s before going on to a standout career at Valparaiso University…And Rick Stucker…a standout runner for Kokomo High School and Indiana University, who later coached track and cross country at Kokomo High School.
The newest members of the Sports Hall of Fame will be inducted October 27th.
