The city of Peru has pledged one-million dollars toward construction of the new Miami County Y-M-C-A.
Peru officials made it official late last week with their one-million dollar pledge for the new Y-M-C-A, which could see construction begin as early as next spring and could open sometime in 2020.
The new Y could cost just over 12-million dollars…but fundraising efforts have raised almost the entire amount.
