Longtime Kokomo City Councilwoman Janie Young will be honored by the League of Women Voters of Howard County next week.
Young will receive the “Outstanding Leadership Award” in recognition of her many contributions to the community. The presentation will take place at Richards Restaurant in Kokomo next Thursday, August 23rd at the League of Women Voters Annual meeting at 5:30.
