The Kokomo Board of Works yesterday agreed with Kokomo Firefighters on a grievance that they say was brought about by confusion in the city’s new contract with the firefighters union.
The Board of Works agreed with the main point of the grievance, which alleged that Fire Department officials used administrative personnel to fill contractual non-administrative positions.
