At the request of Howard County authorities, the Indiana Department of Transportation will study the intersection of U-S 35 and Davis Road to see if it can be made safer for motorists.
A recent rash of serious accidents involving semis at that intersection led law enforcement officials to contact legislators who contacted INDOT about studying the intersection.
The study is expected to begin soon to see if it can be improved to make it safer for cars and trucks alike.
