With December on the horizon comes the deadline to take tags from the Angel Trees of the Salvation Army of Grant County.
Salvation Army Grant County Corps Commander Lieutenant Blake Fewell says about 700 names have been taken from the Angel Trees, but he says there are still about 100 tags available.
The presents are to be returned…un-wrapped…by next Monday to the Salvation Army in Marion so they can be processed before the distribution.
If you still want to help out, find one of the remaining trees, take a tag or two, buy the presents on the list. Or you can also simply make a cash donation and let volunteers do the shopping for you. Either way, you’ll be making Christmas merrier for an area child.
