The Community Foundation of Howard County has received another one-million dollar matching grant from the Lilly Endowment that will allow the organization to give more to local charities.
The money is part of Lilly Endowment’s Giving Indiana Funds for Tomorrow initiative, which will make up to 125- million dollars available to help community foundations strengthen their communities.
Recent grants from the funds included support to Ivy Tech’s Kokomo campus renovation and the Kokomo Rescue Mission’s shelter for single women.
