A house fire early on Christmas morning caused extensive damage to a home just north of Marion.
Firefighters from Center Township, Pleasant Township and Washington Township were all called to a home on Digby Court, just off highway 15 at about 6 o’clock Tuesday morning. The occupants of the home escaped unharmed, but damage to the home was extensive.
Firefighters were called back to the same residence last night when the flames rekindled in the attic of the home.
No injuries were reported in the fire and the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
