MGH Restricts Visitors Due To Flu

The recent widespread outbreak of the flu in Indiana has led Marion General Hospital to restrict visitors at the hospital until further notice.
M-G-H spokesman Don Tricarico says the decision to limit visitors wasn’t an easy one.
Until further notice, no one under age 18 will be allowed to enter Marion General Hospital except for certain cases at the Family Birthing Center.  Anyone with a cold, cough or other flu-like symptoms will not be allowed to enter and the number of adults who can visit patients will be limited to two.
Tricarico says those who do enter M-G-H will be encouraged to wear masks, wash their hands frequently and use hand sanitizer.
