Central Indiana Ethanol is expanding again in Grant County, and the company is asking to expand it’s Tax Increment Financing base with the city of Marion.
C-I-E has purchased additional land adjacent to their property to expand corn receiving and processing facilities, plus storage areas.
C-I-E President and C-E-O Ryan Drook says they also received preliminary approval from the Marion Redevelopment Commission to expand the company’s TIF District. Drook says their expansion plans began with the purchase of adjoining property.
Plans to finalize expansion of the TIF District should come in the next month or so.
Drook says expansion of their new facilities should be done in time for corn harvest this fall.
