Coyote Sightings Increasing In Howard County

Coyote sightings are being reported inside the Kokomo city and all over Howard County as the animals’ mating season arrives.
State Wildlife Control Services officials say they’ve seen coyotes in places like Highland Park, Crown Point Cemetery and even the Kokomo Country Club. And they’re being spotted at times in broad daylight.
Statewide, the number of coyotes has slowly increased as they continue to expand into previously unoccupied habitat. Today, wildlife officials say coyotes occupy all parts of Indiana.
