An Indianapolis man and one from Fort Wayne have been charged with last year’s murder of another Indianapolis man whose body was found in Wabash County.
Indiana State Police say the body of 21-year old Alex Serrano of Indianapolis was found by fishermen near near the Mississinewa Reservoir in late June of last year.
After a lengthy investigation, officers determined that Serrano was taken to the remote location and killed there.
Tuesday, officers arrested 36-year old Jose Guadelupe Maya-Sandoval of Fort Wayne and 33-year old Gerardo Ruiz-Aviles of Indianapolis.  Ruiz-Aviles was already serving time at the New Castle Correctional Facility on unrelated charges.
