This week has been Severe Weather Preparedness Week in Indiana. Preparedness and action are the keys to safety during any kind of hazard. The National Weather Service working together with its partners, the Indiana Department of Homeland Security, state and county officials, the media, and emergency response organizations, remind you to plan for and respond to extreme weather events or any hazard. And Don’t forget your pets in your emergency plan; they also need a disaster kit with water, food and medical supplies.
