JEAN Team Arrests 21 on Drug-Related Charges

Grant County’s Joint Effort Against Narcotics Team Drug Task Force has arrested 21 people over the last 4 days, stemming from drug-related investigations. With the help of the Grant County Sheriff’s Department and Marion Police, the JEAN team raided two drug houses in Marion, related to methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine, and marijuana.
Six Marion residents were arrested on March 21st following an investigation into the illegal sale of crack cocaine. During the investigation, multiple traffic stops were performed and a search warrant was served at 1509 S. Washington St, in Marion.
Arrested during that case were:
Charles Love – age 58, Charles Pegues – age 49, Sharika Moss – age 24, Zentwell Dyson – age 38, Tori McFarland – age 51, Hope Hamilton – age 26 (all from Marion).
Their charges range from Level 2 felony dealing cocaine to false informing. The property is owned by KW Rentals INC of Marion, IN.
Fifteen Grant County residents were arrested on March 24th following multiple investigations into the illegal sale of methamphetamine, heroin, and marijuana.
During the investigations, traffic stops were performed and a search warrant was served at 1312 W. Jeffras Ave. in Marion. The property is owned by Lola Hehr of Monticello, GA.
Arrested during this case were:
Tramaine Wesley – age 32, Michael Eakins – age 21, Ronald Pack – age 33, Timothy Brane – age 38, Austin Wolff – age 23, Tyler O’Hara – age 23, Danielle Murphy – age 29, Gary Burnham – age 27, Kylie Eakins – age 27, Nick Berry – age 35, Tierra Cassidy – age 21, Charles Mills – age 39, Amanda Fleming – age 39, Zachary Lawson – age 26, Joshua Couch – age 23 (all from Grant County).
Their charges range from Level 2 felony dealing methamphetamine to resisting law enforcement.
These investigations are ongoing.
