Karickoff State Tourism Bill

State representative Mike Karickoff has proposed the creation of the Indiana Destination Development Corporation. This legislation, which was passed by the state senate, would establish a joint public/private agency that would replace the current office of tourism development.
Karickoff said that the new agency would be able to raise its own funds with help from investors. The Indiana Destination Development Corporation would be headed by a 7-member boar, 5 of which would be appointed by Governor Holcomb.
