Indianapolis Animal Care Services is offering free adoptions.
The shelter is open intake, which means they are required to accept every animal turned over to them.
They recently faced an influx of pets that put them with nearly 900 in their care.
The shelter says it is completely out of space and hopes the free adoptions available through June 22nd will help get some of these animals into forever homes.
