The Indiana State Police, along with Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a drowning in Steuben County, which claimed the life of a three year old boy.
Preliminary investigation by ISP Detective David Poe indicates yesterday afternoon officers responded to a report of a child found in the water at Lake Arrowhead.
The child was unresponsive when emergency personal arrived on scene, and immediate life-saving measures were attempted until medical personnel arrived.
The child was pronounced dead by the Steuben County Coroner.
This investigation is ongoing.
