A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle at Spencer and Baldwin avenues in Marion.
At around 10:30 yesterday morning 85-year-old Albert Mayforth advised that he was going to the grocery store.
In the process of checking his mirror to merge into another lane he hit 64-year-old victim Peter DeJanovich.
DeJanovich was taken to Lutheran Hospital and was later pronounced dead.
