An inmate from Miami Correctional Facility has died, and Indiana State Police suspect foul play.
70-year-old old Lannie Morgan, of South Bend, was found unresponsive in his prison cell Monday morning.
Prison staffers called an ambulance, but Morgan died before reaching the hospital.
Investigators believe Morgan’s death was a homicide, ISP said Tuesday. Autopsy results are pending.
Morgan had been in prison since 2011 for child molesting and incest.
