Indianapolis preps for tens of thousands to attend Gen Con gaming convention

Gen Con, one of the largest conventions in Indiana, is expecting another large attendance this year.
The event at Lucas Oil Stadium and the Indiana Convention Center begins this Thursday and runs through Sunday.
Gen Con says they have already set a record for the number of four-day badge holders, and anticipate selling out of badges for Thursday before the event begins.
Inside Indiana Business says Gen Con had more than 60,000 attendees and generated about $70 million for the city in 2018.
