IYI now accepting grant applications to help organizations serving youths in east-central Indiana

The Indiana Youth Institute (IYI) is now accepting applications for two grants that aim to strengthen organizations serving youth in east-central Indiana.
Now in its 15th year, the grants are available to improve the organizational capacity of youth-serving nonprofit organizations in east-central Indiana by providing:

  • Up to 95 hours of professional consulting from IYI to provide strategic planning, sustainability planning, board development, program development, evaluation, school and community impact, leadership development and executive coaching
  • A grant of $750 for one staff member to attend a professional development course or conference
  • Registration and travel stipend for one staff member to attend IYI’s 2019 Kids Count Conference in Indianapolis on Dec. 3-4
  • The opportunity to apply for a sub-award of up to $9,000 for approved organizational effectiveness/capacity-building purposes

Applications are due to IYI by 5 p.m. EST on Sept. 13, 2019.
