Boone County farmer: harsh farming seasoning impacts all involved

There is no doubt it’s been a tough year for farmers.
There’s been a domino effect on the farming industry as a whole.
Don Lamb farms 10,000 acres in Boone County and cultivates corn, soybeans, and wheat, all three of which he’ll have less of to sell because of a spring that was too wet to get out and plant on time.
He says other parts of the industry are taking a hit, like his fuel supplier.
Lamb says he bought less fuel for his farm equipment this year because he planted about 120 acres less than he normally does.
