Tyler Trent student gate to be unveiled at Purdue’s first home game

The Tyler Trent student gate will be unveiled at the first Purdue home game on Sept. 7.

Purdue President Mitch Daniels says that the gate will be unveiled about 30 minutes before the gates open.

WLFI reports that construction of the gate has been going on all summer and that what used to be Gate E is now Gate T² “Tyler Trent Student Gate.”

The gate is the location where the world first met Trent at the 2017 homecoming. Sept. 7, 2019, would have been Trent’s 21st birthday.
