The city of Indianapolis and Colts fans around the rest of the state of Indiana are still in shock over Andrew Luck’s surprise announcement that he would be retiring from the NFL.
Luck made that announcement shortly after the Colts lost to the Chicago Bears 27-17 in their third preseason game.
Luck says the ware on his body and his mind over his numerous injuries that he has dealt with over the last four years has been too much and says the best way out that cycle is to not play football anymore.
Luck spent eight years in the NFL, all of which were with the Colts.
He’s 29 years old.
