Oregon coast hit with 6.3 magnitude earthquake

A 6.3 magnitude earthquake was detected Thursday off the coast of Oregon.
The quake was centered about 150 miles west of the coast along a fault line known as the Blanco Fracture Zone.
While the quake was far enough away that it didn’t cause any damage, it could still be felt on land.
Fortunately, scientists say Oregonians don’t have to worry about a tsunami forming from the quake.
