Duke Energy is tearing down a power plant in West Terre Haute.
The old-power plant provided energy to the Wabash Valley from 1953-2016.
Crews are cleaning up the facility now and tear down is set to follow.
It’s a process that takes around four years to finish. Duke Energy hopes to be done by November of 2020.
