Evansville woman allegedly stole over $19K from child’s funeral expenses

An Evansville woman is accused of taking money raised for the funeral expenses of a young child.
WFIE says Caroline Rich, 37, was booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail Wednesday morning on theft and fraud charges.
Police say she worked as a family service counselor at Alexander Memorial Park & Funeral Home.
She stole more than $19,000 from the family of Oliver Dill, the three-year-old that died in July after being left in a hot car.
