Scientists discover how the cold of night can generate electricity

Innovation in the renewable energy space just keeps growing and this time it seems scientists have found a way to generate electricity with cold temperatures.
Essentially they’ve come up with a way to power an LED light by using the cold of outer space, which could then be used to create the nighttime counterpart to solar energy.
The process is called radiative sky cooling, which can generate electricity similar to solar panels, except using the change in the night temperature for power rather than sunlight.
