A Gas City man has been charged with child molesting, battery and neglect of a dependent, according to court documents.
According to the probable cause affidavit, two victims under the age of 14 described 57-year-old John Walter Downam, Sr. as physically and verbally abusive on a regular basis.
The affidavit also mentions sexual violence.
He’s being held in the Grant County Jail on a $100,005 bond.
