Blackford County man gets house arrest for violent attack on nine-year-old

He beat a nine-year-old boy, now a Blackford County man has been sentenced to two years on house arrest.
Shad Hight pleaded guilty to domestic battery resulting in bodily injury to a person less than 14 years of age, said the Muncie Star Press.
Police say that on Feb. 16, Hight picked up the boy by his leg and shirt. Hight then threw him on the floor and punched him twice in the head before whipping him with a belt.
After Hight is finished with his two years on house arrest he’ll be on two years of probation.
