Sheriff’s Deputy, driver save injured owl in Putnam County

An injured owl sitting on a road in Putnam County was rescued by a Putnam County Sheriff’s Deputy and another concerned person on Tuesday night.
The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office says Deputy Rob Soilleux and the other person, who was driving by, noticed the owl had an injured right wing and possibly a concussion.
Soilleux called a wild animal rescue center, to tell them about the owl.
Representatives from Paws, Wings & Other Things picked up the owl. It’s expected to make a full recovery.
