MPD searching for female who allegedly robbed Sunoco Gas Station

A female suspect is on the loose after allegedly robbing the Sunoco Gas Station, located at 3035 S. Western Avenue, at around 1 a.m. yesterday morning, according to a press release from Deputy Chief Stephan Dorsey.
Store Clerk Kenneth Eaton reported that a female entered the store and made a motion as if she had a weapon. Eaton reported that the female demanded the money from the register, and accompanied him around the counter to the cash register.
The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and took two cartons of Pyramids cigarettes. Eaton reported that the suspect told him to sit on the floor by the entry door at which time the suspect fled north of the store.
Dorsey said the suspect is a black female, height approximately 5’11, wearing a dark-colored hat, dark coat, dark pants and gloves.
Police are now asking for anyone who has information about this incident, or the suspect, to call Crime Stoppers at 765-662-TIPS.
