Arrest made in Marion Sunoco Gas Station robbery

An arrest has been made in that Sunoco Gas Station robbery that took place on Thursday morning.
52-year-old Tori L. McFarland, of Marion, was charged with armed robbery, a Level 3 Felony.
McFarland was positively identified from a police photo array by the attending store clerk. According to MPD Deputy Chief Stephen Dorsey, she was arrested at her residence without incident.
McFarland was being held at the Grant County Jail on a $50,000 cash bond.

Store Clerk Kenneth Eaton reported that a female entered the store and made a motion as if she had a weapon. Eaton reported that the female demanded the money from the register, and accompanied him around the counter to the cash register.
The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and took two cartons of Pyramids cigarettes. Eaton reported that the suspect told him to sit on the floor by the entry door at which time the suspect fled north of the store.
