Grant County high schools post above-average graduation rates

The Indiana Department of Education has released the 2019 state graduation rate for high school.
In 2019, 87.3 percent of Hoosier teenagers graduated high school. This is slightly down from 2018’s state average of 88.1 percent.
Here in Grant County, all five schools were above average.
Marion Community Schools: 93 percent. This is down from 96.3 percent in 2018.
Mississinewa Community Schools: 90.3 percent. This is down from 96.8 percent in 2018.
Madison-Grant United School Corporation: 95.8 percent. This is up from 94 percent in 2018.
Eastbrook Community Schools: 96 percent. This is the same graduation rate as in 2018.
Oak Hill United School Corporation: 91.5 percent. This is up from 84.5 percent in 2018.
