MPD: Three arrested after police search W. Eighth St. home

A Marion man has been charged with multiple felony counts having to threaten a woman with a rifle.
It was on Wednesday when Marion Police officers took a report from a female who stated that 35-year-old Jonathon Green pointed a rifle at her the previous day at the residence of 2237 W. Eighth St. in Marion.
The victim said the confrontation came after an argument.
Grant County Superior Court 1 Judge Jeffrey Todd granted a search warrant, which was executed shortly afternoon.
Inside the residence, police also found and charged two other Marion residents: 30-year-old Joshua Kierstead and 35-year-old Ronald Collins III who were both hiding in the basement. They were arrested on unrelated warrants.
Also during the search, police found several syringes which they believe were used for illegal narcotics and an AR-15 rifle in Green’s bedroom.
Green faces charges of intimidation with a deadly weapon, a level 5 felony, maintaining a common nuisance, a level 6 felony and possession of a syringe, a level 6 felony.
Collins Warrant was through the Grant County Sheriff’s Department for strangulation and Marion city court for invasion of privacy, according to police.
