Hundreds of BSU students protest professor calling police on student for not switching seats

Hundreds of Ball State University students walked out in protest after a professor called police to have a student removed from class.
The student who was removed from his class spoke out, saying the police were called because he did not want to switch seats with another student.
Some students have seen this incident as a racial move against the student.
The president of Ball State says the entire situation was “a gross error of judgment” and said the professor involved would undergo training.
