MPD: School bus window shattered, police believe BB is to blame

The Marion Police Department has launched an investigation after a window was shattered on a Marion Community School bus.
On Friday at around 2:24 p.m. a Marion bus driver reported that he was traveling on Kem Road, near Jimmy John’s, when the second window behind him was struck by an object and shattered.
Police arrived on the scene and determined that the window appeared to have been struck by a BB.
There was one student on the bus that was transported to Marion General Hospital as a precaution.
The student was cleared and received no injuries.
