A Jonesboro woman was killed Sunday morning in a head-on accident along Highway 22 in Gas City.
Gas City Police say 34-year old Marty Wamsley of Jonesboro drove her car left of center along highway 22…which is Main Street in Gas City…and struck a semi head-on. Wamsley was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver…25-year old Christopher Lewis of Gas City…was not injured.
Investigators say they don’t know why Wamsley’s car crossed the center line and struck the semi. The accident remains under investigation.
