Indiana State Police and Miami County authorities are investigating the death of a Summitville man, whose body was found over the weekend along a trail east of Peru.
State Police say the body of 22-year old Drake Smith of Summitville was found along a trail by mushroom hunters late Saturday morning. Police say Drake was last seen alive late Friday night.
An autopsy has been ordered on Smith’s body, but State Police say it appears his death was a homicide. They’re investigation is continuing.
