City officials and the Kokomo Firefighters have reached a tentative contract agreement, seen as a major step for the two sides, which have been bargaining since June of last year in a much-publicized, often heated dispute over contract specifics.
Firefighters plan to hold a ratification vote on the proposal this evening.
