Two events are scheduled this week to promote the possibility of starting industrial hemp operations in Howard County.
A hemp dinner is scheduled Thursday night at the Thistle Rock Farm near Russiaville to show potential growers the possibilities that could exist under a pilot program that some want to begin in Indiana.
A second event is set for Sunday evening at the I-O-O-F in Kokomo. Those interested in industrial hemp are encouraged to attend.
