Van Buren Town Marshal Arrested Thursday

The Van Buren Town Marshal was arrested Thursday afternoon in connection with a break-in at a Van Buren home and the theft of drugs.
Indiana State Police say 49-year old Donald Bosley has been charged with Burglary and Theft.  A Van Buren man told investigators that he had prescription medication taken from his home earlier this year and afterwards installed a surveillance system.  When more medications came up missing recently, he checked the surveillance video and found Bosley had entered his home on May 31st and taken medications.  He reportedly was in full uniform at the time.
After studying the video, State Police arrested Bosley on charges of Theft and Burglary and say additional charges are pending.  Bosley is now being held in the Grant County Jail.
Deputies are now handling the duties of patrolling Van Buren, and town officials say they’ll select a replacement for Town Marshal later this month.
