Officials with Newell Brands say they have decided to close their manufacturing facility in Muncie.
The Muncie plant makes parts used in the assembly of fresh preserving containers, including Ball-branded Mason jars.
Company officials say jobs at the Muncie plant will be moved to Ball facilities in Columbus, Ohio and to an existing Newell Brands Food Division facility in Fishers.
